This post is going to be a long one. If you intend to read it, please read it with patience.
It’s a fact and everyone knows it- CLP [Certificate in Legal Practice] examination is tough and the percentage of students who passed the exam is incredibly low. Some even called the exam as a sure-fail exam.
But it’s disappointing when people said that public universities law exam is easy. Here in UiTM, we have to do our one year honours programme [LL.B (Hons)] where the exam is tough and heck no, it’s not a sure-pass programme. The programme itself is unique and save for UiTM, not even a single Malaysian public universities has this kind of programme. Read this post to know how we, UiTM LLB students go through our life everyday.
Seriously, LLB makes me feel so stupid. I never felt this stupid before. Never. Nunca. TAK PERNAH. For LLB programme, our assessment mark is 60% whereas the final exam is 40%. Looks easy as people can say that we can score in the assessments. But that’s not the case.
Imagine for my Law of Evidence subject, I only got 28.1% over 60%. That’s not even half! And my class average marks : 30% over 60%. In order to pass the paper, I need to score 55% over 100% for the final exam [equals to 22% over 40%]. How can that be easy? Ingat senang nak dapat separuh markah utk final?… Nak dapat separuh pun susah, ni lagi, nak kena dapat 55%…
Right now I’m still struggling with the syllabus. Just covered the Doctrine of Res Gastae. And it’s just 10% of the syllabus. A lot more to go. Tolong la doakan aku. Semoga aku dapat faham semua konsep-konsep law of evidence. Dapat ingat kes-kes. Dan dapat jawab dengan baik. Ya Allah, bantulah aku…
