UiTM law graduates are the most lucky graduates in the world. This is due to the fact that normal graduates will only have one convocation for their bachelor’s degree while UiTM law graduates will have two, and the convocations are within a one-year period. The first is for the Bachelor of Legal Studies while the second is for the Bachelor of Law.
I already had my first convocation last year, and for this year, my Bachelor of Law’s convocation [LL.B’s convocation] was held on the 18th of May. It was very special as it was held in the spanking-new-awesome Dewan Agong Tuanku Canselor [DATC]. 2 days before the convocation, we took our robes and had a mini gathering at Pak Li Kopitiam. Then, my friends and I went to Neway Centro Mall for a karaoke session. On Wednesday, we had our convocation :)
Something strange about this new DATC is that although it is bigger and there are a lot of spaces outside, still, they are full with people. Whereas, when we had the convocation ceremony at the Dewan Sri Budiman [DSB], there are places where we can take photos without having peoples as the backdrop. ;p
