After we got down from the peak of Gunung Mat Chincang, we took a stroll at the village. The village is very nice with many shops selling foods, drinks, souvenirs. It has a great atmosphere. We felt like we were not in Malaysia as we passed the Japanese area, the Arab area…

Soon, we went back to our car and drove to Telaga Tujuh [literally translated as 7 wells]. It is actually a waterfall with 7 natural wells. Well, kinda something like that ;p.

It is located nearby the cable car area where you will pass a horse ranch and then, after you see the signboard, make a left turn. RM 2 will be charged to park your car. The waterfall can be seen from the cable car as you ascend to the peak of Gunung Mat Chincang.

Go straight to go to the wells or turn left for the waterfall. We chose to go to the left ;)

We didn’t go to the 7 wells, instead we chose to go to the waterfall. Actually, we didn’t go to the 7 wells because it was getting late in the evening, we didn’t plan to swim and most importantly because:

We did not want to climb further!

The waterfall is amazing! The sound of the waterfall made me crazy. LOL. The water is clear and cold. I did not swim but I did put my feet inside the stream.

Tips:

If you need to go the toilet for any reason, or you need to change, do it before you reach the waterfall. The toilet at the waterfall is not properly maintained and it smells really bad.

After we had spend some time at the waterfall, we went back to the motel, had some rest and went for dinner at a Ikan Bakar [grilled fish & seafood] restaurant near Pantai Cenang.

Then we remembered that we haven’t gone to the Kuah Town yet. The Kuah Town is Langkawi town’s centre which is busy during daytime and sleepy during night time.

At Kuah Town, I went to a perfume shop to buy a perfume for my mum and then we went to a massage centre to do some reflexology massage.

When it was almost midnight, we went back to the motel and fell asleep~
