Hi there! This is part of a series on Visit Malaysia 2014. In conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2014, we will post a photo from our Instagram account, @kairulizwan, which will give you an insight on Malaysia. Come, visit Malaysia, Truly Asia.
The Klang Valley area in Malaysia is crisscrossed with a network of rail lines. Among all the rail lines available, my personal favourite is the Kelana Jaya Line LRT because it has a special spot in my memory. When the construction of the Kelana Jaya Line LRT completed in 1998 (it was called as the PUTRA LRT back then), it was the first LRT train that I ride in my life, from Subang Depot to Pasar Seni. Even the KL Sentral station was still under construction. And another reason is because apart from being very punctual to this very day, the Kelana Jaya Line LRT is also driverless, giving the passengers standing at the end of the coach a good view of the journey.
