Hi there! This is a part of the series on Visit Malaysia 2014. In conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2014, I will post a photo from my Instagram account, @kairulizwan, which will give you an insight on Malaysia. Follow me on Instagram for more photos from a local’s view and come visit Malaysia, Truly Asia.
Let me be honest – I have never liked frogs and I have fear of frogs. The only type of frog that I usually saw is the normal toad. So, when I was invited to Kuching, Sarawak for the International Bornean Frog Race 2014, I was eager to know what the race is all about. Turned out, it was a race to capture as many photos of the tiny creatures as possible. The event changed me and taught me a lot. It gave me a new perspective and I saw many different types of frogs. The photo above was taken by me at the frog pond at Kubah National Park in Matang, Sarawak. For more info on the frog above, click here. Do you have fear of frogs like what I used to have?
