Hi there! This is a part of the series on Visit Malaysia 2014. In conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2014, I will post a photo from my Instagram account, @kairulizwan, which will give you an insight on Malaysia. Apart from taxis and buses, public transportation in Malaysia also include the rail system which consists of the KTM Komuter, two LRT lines, one monorail line, KLIA transit and KLIA Express as well as the still-under-construction MRT Line. My personal favourite when taking public transport here is the Kelana Jaya Line LRT as it is very punctual and it passes through many important places like KL Sentral, Petronas Twin Towers and Pasar Seni. The only setback is when taking one during peak hours. In Kuala Lumpur, peak hours are from 7.00 am to 9.00 am and 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Taking the train during peak hours mean submitting oneself to be squeezed inside the train coach, as what I experienced previously. Just look at the photo above. That is how it looks like when you board the train during peak period.
What is your personal favourite?
