Thank you for sharing this. Also, the cost of living in the UK is much cheaper and the cities is much easier to adjust to. Commute times on average are shorter and the city is full of green spaces.

I’m so sorry to hear about your father ?. The COVID-19 pandemic has effected everyone. I had been planning and training for a solo backpacking adventure to Scotland ??????? for months! My birthday was April 18th and I was flying out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA ?? to Glasgow, Scotland ??????? April 20th, returning April 29. Obviously those plans were posted, but still made the best of both my birthday and vacation that I could. As you said, always look to the positives. ?
